Jackie Morelisse has been a strong contributor to the Boys & Girls Club of Collier County for a number of years. Both Jackie & her husband Henk are very philanthropic, focused and actively involved in supporting a number of organizations within our community. The Boys & Girls Club is fortunate to be one of these benefactors. Their dedicated support is greatly appreciated by all the students who benefit from the much needed programs provided at the Naples & Immokalee Campuses.
Jackie has graciously painted and donated some of her beautiful artwork for our annual fundraising events. The buyers of these custom masterpieces are in awe of her tremendous talent as an artist and love the beauty and happiness these pieces add to their homes. Jackie takes great joy in sharing her creative skills with others and knowing that the proceeds raised are going to worthy causes to help others.
The Boys & Girls Club of Collier County opens its doors to 3000 kids. The club offers 6 core program areas, of which the Arts is one. Programs such as the Arts enables students to experience the joy of creativity, as well as providing a means to express themselves. Students are able to strengthen their problem solving and critical thinking skills while exercising their creativity. Club members ages 6-18 participate in drawing, painting, printmaking, collage, mixed media and sculpture. A number of students have entered and been recognized with awards for their art pieces in the National Fine Arts Competition each year.
The Boys & Girls Club is deeply grateful to local artists like Jackie who willingly donate their talent in supporting our goals and mission of providing a safe environment where students can build the knowledge, skills and behaviors to put them on the path for success. Watch for exciting new paintings by Jackie to purchase at our future fundraising events!
